Charity Fraud and cyber-crime: the impact of the pandemic
The cases of fraud within the charity sector are on the increase. Trustees and Senior Management need to protect themselves and not become victims of fraud or cybercrime.

BDO, kindly supported by the Fraud Advisory Panel, has undertaken a survey looking at what the impact of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has had on fraud affecting charities in the UK. The results were launched during Charity Fraud Awareness week 2021, which took place 18 – 22 October.

Please join us at this webinar where we will be discussing the report further with The Fraud Advisory Panel. We are delighted to be joined by a panel of speakers who will share their views on how charities can mitigate their risk of fraud. Our speakers include:

• Jill Halford, National Head of Charities, BDO

• Mia Campbell, Head of Fraud Advisory Panel

• Jason Gottschalk, Partner, Cyber, BDO

• Kaley Crossthwaite, Head of Forensic Services, BDO
