Sustainability with Purpose across the UK, China and Africa
How business communities working together can bring about sustainable development.

From 1-12 November, representatives from over 200 countries will be descending on Glasgow to attend COP26 and discuss how we can protect our global environment, deliver on climate change targets, and safeguard our economies and livelihoods. ECBF recognises the importance of collaboration between continents as the effects of climate change knows no borders.

The Covid-19 pandemic has emphasised how the world needs to work together, whether it is in introducing regulations or in the sharing of new technologies. The UK and China business communities can play a part in the green transition ensuring sustainable development, as we slowly decouple economic growth from harmful emissions.

We are delighted that we have a stellar panel of speakers to inspire individuals and companies into action, incorporating ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) best practice into business and investments.

Our panel:
Sir Tim Smit, KBE, founder of the Eden Project
Dr. Li Yao, founder of Q Energy
Prince Ezebuchi, co-founder of the Lagos China Business Initiative
Prof Xiao Lan Fu, Oxford University and consultant to UN, World Bank and other multi-lateral institutions
Xinna Wang, Director at BDO UK LLP
